Here it is, I try and complain about this every now and again but not too often. Please reply and show your support for getting this fixed as im sure it wont take long.

The remember me function on the forum login system isnt working meanin that you have to log in every time you come to the forum this is really annoying. Also sometimes when I come to log in I get the message telling me I need to bea fan club member to access the forums. I have become a fan club member about 75 times now. When I get this message I sometimes can't log on at all.

Would be nice if this was fixed, surely its not that hard a problem to fix and we have been putting up with it since about the CU now.

The lithium forum they use for both SWG and EQ2 really stinks. Took me 10 minutes to get into the forums today and 1/2 the time the search never works....

I agree 100%. I'd even be willing to have to log-in every time if it would at least remember my password.

I seen a list of all forum software that was being used right now and it was rated, needless to say Lithium was VERY low on the list, 16th I think

yeah but less used means nobody's figuring out ways to break it, which means they need to do a lot less maintenence. It's like choosing a secure OS. You choose window's, there's millions of peopletrying to figure out the security loopholes in it all hours of the day around the world, but there's also a ton of security upgrades to combat it.

Now how many people are out there writing viruses for BSD?

I just spent about 20 minutes trying to log in to the forums. I kept getting the "fan club membership required" page.

I'm going to be absolutely clear on what I did, in the hopes that one of the admins might actually RESPOND to this thread and acknowledge the problem:

1) Started IE (Windows XP SP2)

2) Tools -> Internet Options - Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History

3) Close IE

4) Open IE

5) Go to http://www.starwarsgalaxies.com

6) Click "Forums" on the left

7) Click "Sign in" at upper left of Forums page

8) Enter station name and password in pop-up, click Login

9) At this point one of two things happens: either (a) I get the "Membership Required" page, or (b) the Forums page reloads and I'm still not logged in.

10) Shut down IE in frustration after numerous attempts.

After waiting about 10 minutes, I tried again and had no problems.

I've been having this problem for weeks if not months. I've used countless forum sites over the years and have never run into a forum system in such a state of disrepair. And yet I actually PAY Sony for this one. Ironic.
