Thread: I will pay for the customer service expansion.

I am willing to pay $50.00 for the Star Wars Galaxies Customer Service Expansion.

In this expansion,

I want to get responces from customer service in the forums.

I want bugs fixed.

If there is an issue in the game, I want it communicated before I get stuck in it.

If I have a problem in game, I don't want a cut and paste response.

I would be willing to pay $50.00 for this service that should be included in the game anyway. In addition to that I would be wiling to pay an extra $1 or $2 a month for this continued service.


SOE has the worst Customer service I have ever experianced in my professional or personal life and I like Star Wars, so I'm willing to try to find a way to change that, even if it means paying for it.

I love your idea. I have only had ONE positive response from CSR. And, like you say it seems like all their responses are copy and paste. I would be surprised if it isn't automated. They run a 24/7 game yet don't have 24/7 hours. I worked for the post office and we ran mail 24 hours a day. We did it for the customers. That's pretty sad when the post office has better customer awareness than Sony. You can't even chat with them on the web site 24 hours a day. I quit for 8 months. When I tried coming back I had problems with CD keys. I had no one to call or ask what the problem was. I finaly managed to figure it out myself, but if I hadn't, I would have just stopped trying and got WoW the next day (that was my plan).

Guess I should also mention that after being gone for eight months I still found bugs that were around when I FIRST started playing. Broken missions, check. Friends list won't update correctly, check. One issue that started the day JTL came out is still there, and I KNOW they were made aware of that one. Yet, they came out with this combat upgrade no one seemed to want. I know it cleared out my server. I had to start a new toon on another server. They've come out with two new expansions and other publish's yet never spend time getting bugs out of the core game. I myself will never buy one of the newer expansions until they fix the core game. I'm not one of these people who would complain, then turn right around and throw more money at them.
