Firefox is not fully supported, unfortunately.
But wait for someone high up to say something (or someone smarter than me
), because I don't know anything about this issue. (I use Firefox for years now)

Firefox hasn't been developled with those features... Firefox is a more secure version of web-browsing... The alternative is right clicking on the star features and clicking properties to view it's alternate message... That is suffic for me. As far as viewing counts... Isn't scripted into the FireFox coding... I think plans are coming though.

The issue isn't really with firefox, its fully compliant with all current browser standards. The problem is the fact that people still use non-standard coding that is IE specific.

While I'll refrain from arguing for or against, Firefox does not contain all the necessary features to be compatible with the lithium boards 100% this is not anything new, firefox is not 100% compatible with a very large portion of websites.
