I KNOW...You guys need to complain to lithium and get that fixed. It really is terrible. If you get the search function fixed, there'll be less questions asking the same thing.

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

Nalawod,I've been asking for the same thing for at least a year now (probably longer).

The Advanced Search messageon this board contains some ideas I've had formaking the search functionality as useful as it should be. Given that these changes would benefit both users (by cutting down on search time) and SOE's web admins (by reducing search traffic), I can't understand why SOE hasn't leaned on Lithium toimplement these basic searchfeatures in their forum software.

GarVa? Hammerfel? An ETA on these features -- even a word or two to indicate that something will be done soon -- would be greatly appreciated.

Let me give you an example, I'm a CM in-game and am constantly looking for auctions on Combat Medic Experiment Clothing Attachements. Because your Advance Search only allows exact word matches, can you guess how many searches I do to come up with what I'm after? I start with "cm exp", then "cm exp." then "cm experiment", then Combat exp..." --- you get the drift. I've never seen a lousier search engine (except maybe on a MAC . No wonder the system is always, day & night, responding with "too many searches in progress..." !

It would be great if you could enhance it for partial word searchs, options for "+" must contain, "-" not contain, etc. BOTH for the Header and the Body. It would really cut down on the number of queries people are having to do. Don't get me wrong - I find the forums indispensable - just very frustrating to use. Most times I just end up reading the last 3 days worth sequentially.
