I do advanced searches a lot. I use the search to find current answers to old problems, locate auctions of resources I need, and many other reasons. If I happen to be searching a word that has been used a lot since the beggining of the game then it makes it very difficult to not ask the same old question over or be able to find who is selling that resource I need. Even when I limit the search to the boards I think I will find my naswer on, when I get too large of a result returned it trunks it off. So the most recent thing I may be able to see if from 2003 or 2004. This has happend a lot in my searches and I cannot find where to enter a date range when I search.
Can we get this added? It has been brought up twice before and left to die. Honestly something this simpl could cut down on some of the multi-posts seen on the boards. Here are two links to this question being asked in the past.

Well with these forums being around so long any time I search for stuff I get all the good info from 2003. Nice. Can we get a date search range?

I agree 100%. The forum search is probably one of the worst searches I've seen in a forum. I build websites and have better search capabilities than this.
I very rarely search for anything because It always seams to give me very old posts. That and a lot of "to many searches" messages. Probably because people can't find what they are looking for.
