Unfortunately someone took offence with something you said and 1 starred 112 of your posts (they got a message history of everything you posted and 1 starred till they got board... it sucks but it happens)

The CSR's would never ever do that to a client.

Had the same thing happen to me today, but with someone even more dedicated. I got nuked-from-orbit from 4.0 average rating to 1.9...

And I had just earned my purple name and Wing Commander title as well. It is kind of a shame that something like that would go virtually unpunished, as it can take someone who comes off to be a decent community member and turn them into an apparent raging arse in no time flat.

You think out of sheer abuse, they'd limit how many extreme ratings to either end a person can receive in a given time frame, especially from a limited number of accounts.

At any rate, I feel your pain.

This is an old problem that has been brought time and time up to Forum moderators and SOE. This simply wash their hands of it and state its a lithium issue and untill lithium decides to alter the forum code you/we are screwed. Its been stated many times that this form of griefing affects players that take their forum rank seriously. Garva/Soe/Admins opinion of it is that this is not a problem since it doesnt affect your game play in any real way. At one point I really argued for a change but it isnt going to happen. Between the game being in constant repair, constant griefers and poor customer service I personally am moving on to bigger and better. If you choose to stay and aspire to have a good forum rank, be prepared for dissapointment. All it takes is one griefer.

Let me restate this issue. The ONLY way for someone to get banned is if they are stupid enough to admit to one star griefing. Telling moderators who you suspect is one-starring you is not enough. There is NO WAY to track who stars a post. There is no way to turn off the star system (the option in your profile applies to YOUR ability to see star ranking and apply star ranking, even if you have this option off others can still view your post and rate it, the difference is you never know). Every day after the server resets a person can re star all your posts. In my case my griefer gets on every morning or every other morning around 8:30-9:30 PST and commencing to one-star all my 200+ posts like clock work. I know exactly who it is and why they are griefing my (due to an auction item they lost). Can I prove it to an Admin...no. Will they admit it....no. Will I continue to play and pay for this game.....no. I only now check the forum once in a while when Im bored.

Basically Admin/moderators/SOE washed their hands of the matter. If you read the sticky that Garva posted called one star, he makes his stance clear and even orders people not to post about this issue any more. I personally feel betrayed by this individual who has gained a postion of Correspondant which is supposed to help and resolve issues yet decides and declares what issues people can post about or comment on, the tone of his thread was a borderline, unstated threat against anyone who brings this issue back to the forefront. For 15$ a month....yea right.

Basically if you use the boards for auctions once in a while and nothing else then you are smart. If you aspire for some forum rank, good luck. All it takes is one kid with alot of time, a chip on his shoulder and a cold shoulder from Admin. Good luck finding resolution. You'll need it.
