I know i dont but i know for a fact being iam US army and i have freinds who play this and EQ2 that are in Iraq right nwo and play everychance they get..also i am going to afghan soon and will be playing from over there,

never played swg outside my room, that only cause my laptop to old to play swg, but once back in the old online days of starfleet command2, i use to carry my laptop and a analog modem capable cell phone every where, well make long story short when teboggining decided take a 20 minute break at top of hill yanked out comp and phone and started to play did even notice that sled decided to go down hill byself with me on it while i was playing )

this next one aint me but some one i use to know on yahoo chat, when doing camping in the artic she broaght a laptop and satalink for gamming) and was durring the midnight months, can you say geek

I guess hotel rooms all round the world don't count as out of the norm... tho I have on 2 occasions logged on from a 747 jet on the way accross the atlantic... Costly but had to be done

When i first started SWG i was in grad school, and had my own office on campuswith a very nice computer that was meant to run complex Geologic mapping progams. I did not persoanlly own a computer good enough to run SWG. so of course i used that one...let me tell you...i had a lot o' fun that last semester in Grad School...It was nice cuz i could work on my thesis and play at the same time. Now i'm trying to figure out how to play at work

when on a job i log in where ever / when ever i can.

from a hotel room in Tokio ( most recent ) or a condo in Detroit or a lousy dressing-room backstage.

weirdest so far was a public phone at Phoenix Airport while waiting for my delayed flight.

i play swg on my laptop and desktop in every hotel room i live in from jersey to pheonix, chicago to dallas ...12 months out of the year. once played on my laptop sitting in my car using the truckstops free wireless connection.

LOL i have logged in at the Denver Diner too i live like 20 min from there woot! i also have logged in at a very well known strip club here in Denver and played with a stripper while she was 'sposed to be on the clock (we both had our laptops) wooooot!

Well, with a Verizon 3G card, I have logged in from about any place a laptop can go.


-The Beach

-Going down the freeway in the car

-Out in the middle of no where

-Airports

-Long Drives

-Parks



But nothing 'unusual', which is what I think you are looking for.

My personial best is the 86th floor of the empire state building, The Viewing platform. Cell phone dialup was laggy but manageable. What a view from up there though.

Well, i was in a goverment building, cant discloser its place or time, and doing some satellite feed and monitoring some IPs. It was actually very busy day for all of us because we wereafter a guy called marwan habib orso i was told. Once, now and then i hooked a satellite connection and watched someone play SWG..............................

Or was it the other way around? I was playing SWG and watched the serie 24 on my TV???????

Anyways, i was in two different worlds at the time....
