We hear you and moving forward our publishs will be smaller in scope but willinclude top priority bug fixes along with minimal content.

Thanks again for responding Tiggs

Things have been getting pretty negative on the forums- knowing that we are being listened to is a big step to starting to lift the spirit of players who do love the game, but are just frustrated.

How about a bug free (or minimal) publish? As a programmer i know this is possible.

lol...what planet you on? in 2 years, I've never seen it happen on here.

Personally, I say bug fixes are the top priority.

Is the CU considered a bug?

from a post above

* There is no longer any "wild" world in this game. For soem time the game has had a mix of spawning issues (like gcw bases hogging things) but theres a bigger problem then that. As a mid to high level player there are 2 maybe 3 planets in the game that have *ANYTHING* to do on them but forced CL missions, and the lower level planets are totally AFKable. I could drive across most planets blindfolded (rori, dant for example) if I didn't think i'd run up and get caught by a tree stump or a harvester. Thats just bad. Worse, is running soemthing like nyms or running to see the hermit for the "hero" quest and not pulling aggro once the whole time... SOME HERO. The grey con not aggroing chagnes that went in, and then things like the more recent mask secnt changes do little for me then remove content and make me pay less attention to the game / make more of the game a time sink. At this point I see no reason for their being other then to create lag. Even more subtle changes like turning a lot of lower level NPCs and creatures from red dots to yellow dots have sterilized things for low level players. All the worries about a CL1 on tat getting killed visting their harvesters or factories didn't materialize, why, because you turned everyhting from kreetles to desert demons non-aggro. Sure, I complained when a kreetle would break mask scent 9 out of 10 times, but it gave the game some texture and kept me on my toes instead of some mechanical drive out 3k to harv and drive back being nothing but pointing my bike in the right direction then getting up to get a drink. There were other resolutions to problems of time vs. xp (for one I think low cl criters have way too much ham, for another I think more combat profs need aoes) which I think was the biggest problem pre-aggro changes

you have hit it spot on. Bugs yes, should be fixed. But this as part of the overall game mileu is what has turned an exciting game into mmmmm well a lot more of a bore. Everything is too safe. Why bother worrying about my Jabba/townsperson etc faction when grey cons won't attack even my low level crafter. I can drive anywhere virtually with no risk.

There is no 'wild' world. All that about crafters and harvs, I go anywhere with a level 12 and never really worry cept maybe, maybe on Dath.

Basically the game now is too sterile, too basic, too safe. It's lack the dynamism it had before. There's little to keep me on my toes to quote above.

I've played simce march 2004, worked my butt off to become one of the premier Weaponsmiths on the server (i love crafting still even though it's a lot less fun thah before: half a dozen weapons worth making and stat caps), but i believe i would give all i have achieved up for a pre-cu server. I know sooo many others that would too. I think everyone i knew from pre-cu days that is still around.

Well, I guess you didn't hear myself, Ecnirp or any other player who posted who would love to see things better tested. You managed to completely FUBAR Publish 22 because of minimal testing and some fake "deadline" for Publish 22. So, my guess is anyone who is currently online playing will suffer a rollback when you decide to actually push the "real" Publish 22 to live, right?

This is a sorry state of affairs right now as two fixes have made it past QA as "fixed" have been found out to be pure, unalduterated tripe. You guys almost seem like you are trying to drive players out of SWG and into the arms of Blizzard and World of Warcraft.

I vote they go back to loading publishes with content and releasing them without fixing the bugs if Publish 22 (in which after hours of downtime and 2 attempts to publish it) the only thing that works is the new content, the xp nerf is the Devs idea of a publish full of bug fixes.
