Thread: So You Fired Tiggs?
She worked harder and sacrificed more for this community than any of the other Red-names.
There is not a justifiable reason for them to fire her. They would be selfish at best.
Tiggs, I hope you continue to play alongside of us, and put the thankless position in which you did so much behind you, or at least the negative memories of it's duration.

In the end she can be happy with that decision cause she got more time to get a new job. I am pretty sure SWG will fail dramatical with their new "ideas".
They hope they get enough PR out of Episode 3 DVD start to bring in their "new" changes. Think ppl will be very short happy with this cause its more
the KOTOR target group which they reach with that and these ppl don't play (and PAY) for the same game for several years. Play Station 3 user are also
in the main part not the target group who pay $ monthly for a subscription. They pay i.e. at the XBox some kind of 60 (?) $ a YEAR for all the online games
you can play on the XBox.
So SWG won't be the money cow they want to and i am pretty sure LA and SOE will cut this game into pieces if their so called "genius" idea don't work ![]()
Its like the last chance ...
So not the badest thing for Tiggs (even if i care a sh... for her ...) to get out of this mess yet ... other's will follow i am sure
(enjoy the show folks)

Wow I'm not sure what to say. I had mixed feelings about Tiggs, but honestly I know that her (at times) lack of communication and responses were not "her fault". I know she has higher-ups that tell her what to say/do and she's just an inbetween for us and the developers. It was apparent that no one understood that and faulted her for everything, which was truely unfair. Quite frankly if it was me, I would have told the asshats in the community to **** themselves and quit. Guess that's why I don't work in people relations.
This comes at a bad time though, a horrible time actually. SOE pulls the grandest, most unethical business move I've seen a game company do on November 2nd, then they go and fire the only person that really talks to us at all, even if she hardly ever had answers. Man I am shocked and perplexed by this company. I think I might be following Tiggs out the door soon.
Tiggs you are probably better off. I wish you well in your future endeavors, may the Lord provide the means to take care of your family.
I have felt for some time that SWG is really hanging by a thread. I do not think the NGE will save it, much like I didn't think the CU would save it. The NGE will fail for the same reasons the CU failed, the lack of listening to the customer base. SWG has sold 1.5 million copies, which means less than 1 in 8 people that bought it have continued to play it. That in itself is a major problem. The professions weren't the problem. The problem has been the number of bugs that have remained in game since their inception, some dating back to beta. The other main problem is the lack of any sustained content. The NGE may breath a brief life into the game, but if its not followed up with true bug fixes and actual content its going to fail. It is clear that the management in charge of SWG development decided some months ago not to work on bug fixes but rather diverted resources to a complete rewrite of the game for the second time since launch. I suspect SWG will be dead within 6 months unless the management in charge of it makes major changes with how they respond to customer inquiries.
Good luck Tiggs.
are you kidding TH is genuine toolbag .

Where did you find this out?
Funny thing, I was actually coming here to complain about Tiggs and this is how I find out.
I'm sorry you feel this way about Tiggs but I was never a fan of her. She was truly tactless about her handling of the community. I was actually coming to recommend that she learn a lesson or 2 from TH.
Thanks for your work Tiggs, but honestly I cannot say I'm sorry to see you go. No hard feelings, just simple opinion. And that is my opinion, I'm not trying to influence anyone with it.
I cant believe you people flaming Tiggs.
She had an extremely difficult job and seemed to be extremely dedicated to the community as evidenced by her frequent after hours posting.
She could obviously only pass on what was sanctioned by her higher ups.
Tiggs personally responded to some of my PM's to her, stuff like that is really beyond the call of duty for someone looking after such a large and vocal community.
If you are reading this TIggs I felt you did a great job and you will be missed in this community by many
Good luck for your future.

You did an awesome job here and those who can get their heads out of their asses long enough to see the big picture know that.
I wish you all the best. This isn't the first MMORPG I've played where our paths have crossed and I hope it wont be the last one... might not be WoW but who knows
