I figure this thread is already closed, but oh well.

I play SWG with my brother and dad who both live back at home. I'm in college atm, but still keep playing with them constantly. My girlfriend also has a character, as does my sister.

I bought the game for my son back in August 03 for his birthday, needless to say after trying it myself we now have numerous characters on diff servers and we play together as father and son in game on Gorath. The 2 daughters were not as enthused lol. Being a single Dad of three, all with me it gets fun balancing gameplay with other things around the house.

Funny, I don't think you want My wife and I to tell the truth as we see it.

Though from SOE the truth is so very subjective.

Evidenlty they didn't ask the rest of us about the game.

My son used to play on-line, but after I recently shelled out for two copies of JTL, for some reason or other (something must have happened in the past week) he now wants me to cancel his subscription and buy him a copy of WoW.

/sigh

/open wallet again!!!!

Only a month ago my son told me that SWG was all he had ever wished for in a game - now he is pestering the life out of me to buy WoW as that is what all his friends and guildiesare playing now.

My wife used to play SWG with me but she switched to WoW because she didn't enjoy mission grinding for xp and prefers gaining xp by doing quests. It's a shame SWG just relies on a concept that shows zero creativity and every profession grind feels the exact same.

The fact that she was a Smuggler during playing SWG also had a factor of why she left the game.

Well if you came here 2 weeks ago looking for this, you would have found many more families who played SW:G together. I know of at least 3 who have cancelled their accounts (according to what was said on the CU boards before they took them down).

my husband and i play together

we are both bh's and hunt jedi together

go out pvp'ing together

he is teaching me to be a better pilot so i can catch up to him in piloting skills

do quests and missions together

and i just became glowy so i can join him at the village

we both play on the scylla server

I also game with my Mom and my husband. We met on Everquest Live five years ago, and now we're a happy family with a roomful of computers! We play EQ2 as well as SWG together where we have a band on the Intrepid server.

Me, and two of my cousins, that are brothers play and one of my best friends. We are all in the same guild. Also in my guild, There is 2 guys who both play the game with their brothers who are all in our guild, then we have another guy who plays the game with his wife and her brother, also in our guild. Then another one who plays with his best friend and his wife also in our guild. Basically our guild is just one big family.

Thats about 14members in my guild that are related to each other in one form or another. Its funny, because when I was in the army it was almost the same way in my platoon, we had a bunch of guys they were related to each other, like they were distant cousins or friends prior service.

My brother and I both play together on our two computers. We played together on Kettemoor constantly hunting Imps for the GCW but our guildies all left to go to the Bria Server. My brother and I still play together but my main is now on the Bloodfin Server and his is on the Kettemoor Server. We both got glowy the same day and both hope tobecomeJedis ASAP. I also respec'd my old guy on Kettemoor to craft for my brother.
