Thread: So You Fired Tiggs?
I literaly almost cried when I came home from work and heard this..
okay.. maybe i did... but i will never admit it!!!
I just hope that she has bigger and better things waiting for her

Sick but I had to laugh. I tried rescuing a bird who had gotten stunned on a road once. Stopped traffic to get the little guy in my car. While I'm driving on the highway the thing recovered and started flying around. hehe Stuffed him (gently) into a box and covered it so he'd be calm.
Anyhoo...I drive around until I get to the perfect spot to release him into the wild. No lie. I watched him fly across the peaceful stream while a hawk swooped down and grabbed him. I'm staring at this open-mouthed while I see movement in the brush. Amazing.

Word of advice about PR Brenlo,
NEVER state that you fireda singlefemale with kids.
Business is business, I reckon. Nobody wants ta do business with a monster though, no matter how good the deal is. That's what ya just became ta many of the folk here. There were folk who actually liked the NGE who quit over this. If ya'll can toss a single female with kids outta Austin man, then that shows to many thatya'll are cold hearted bastages.
At that point manyou can make the best product in the world and give the customer 100 character slots. It won't matter. Even if its the perfect deal for the public, ain't nobody wanna deal with a snake.
Instead of sayin' "I'm happy ta subscribe ta a great game," now they are sayin', "This sucks man. Its the best game evah, and its too bad I ain't gonna play it on account of the slime in Austin who toss out women and children."
Its this sorta stuff that reminds us all that there are more important things then sendin' ya money ta forgettabout the real world. You just reminded everyone here that there are priciples at stake. Humanity (or Rodity in my case 
) be at stake. Ya can't sellnobody games when they see that ya'll ain't not only real, but real bad.
Peer pressure has just worked against ya. Peeps who support ya are gonna be seen as mosters alongside ya. "How can youplay thatNGE whenSOE fire women with kids?" Playin' this game has now become a moral crime ta some. You can't generate hype with that, Brenlo. Don't matter who you are.
The mythic aura of reverence is gone from the red names. We don't see ya as gods no more, but men, I reckon, and bad men at that.
Never state that ya fired a single woman with kids unless ya'll are goin' bankrupt. Cause if ya ain't goin' bankrupt man, then ya'll look like you be morally bankrupt. At that point man, ya lost yer ability ta sell ta human beings (or rodians too ).
If ya quit Tiggs... I applaud you for taking the walk with some of our other most beloved devs
If you were fired... more proof of the incompetence running the show.

I guess SOE doesn't care that players like myself have put over $2500 into the game at this point, not to mention the 2 extra computers I built that I would not have if not for this game valued over $2000 each at the time they were built (plus the one bigger one that I would have anyway). Let's not forget the trip to Indianapolis and the trip to Anaheim that when leaving felt like we might stick around a few more years, forget it.

Great work guys, i must say. I honestly, didnt think that things could get any worse then you go and fire one of the only trulygreat people on your books that genuinly andvocally believed in the game and what it couldachieve.
2 and a half years and still SOE continues tomake mistake after mistake, i would honestly think you guys would learn but obviously i was wrong. Consider my account cancelled, ill be waiting for the timer to run out.

Yeah, this is a bad time to get let go. I was laid off at about the same time last year and things didn't start to happen until January.
