Um there were lots of "Directors of Community Relation". Wasn't TH one too? In SOE, director means nothing.

Lol, underestand she is in community relations. What you are saying is equivilent of holding a telephone operator responsable if your phone goes out. Don't let titles go to your head, she did none of the designing of SWG. She made none of the NGE design decisions. She is the go between between us and the Dev's and thats it. If the dev's tell her nothing, she has nothing she can tell us. She is not even allowed to spin her own information, thats marketing.

Even as someone who has been vocal about what I saw as being poor community relations, I am sad for Tiggs if she got laid off. I've survived several mergers and layoffs, and even seeing people that probably deserved to let go is not easy.
Part of the problem is that "Community Relations" is a misnomer. SOE doesn't care about truth or customer relations, they want a spin doctor yesman. I have to imagine that would bother anyone in the position. Look at how long Calyndryll lasted - he also disappeared under mysterious circumstances. So if Tiggs left on her own accord, I say good job - stick it to the man.

I really started off mad at the NGE and blamed tiggs, i mean i still am pissed about the NGE and in my opinion Tiggs was still apart of keeping up such a nice face while behind the scenes, the scenes that she was fully aware of, lied to us.

It is all too obvious SOE kept her in the dark for their own reasons. Even the announcement of the NGE wasn't given to her.I think Tiggs was getting too close to many of the players and they didn't trust her.

Hello Tiggs,
first the NGE then this, well this is going crazy.
I never saw such poor communication nor so bad client management so far in my short human life.
I'd suggest you to write a book on you experience at SOE, I'm pretty sure you would earn a lot of $$$, considering this will be THE example of whatnot to do.
I can tellI wasn't your best supporter but I know you where in a very difficult position as you where either obliged to lie to the customers or hide facts to us.
You done your best and I hope you'll find a new job fast, one who fits better for you.
You need to work with open minded people, who cares for the customers and are eager to listen form them.
SOE was definively the wrong place for you.
May I suggest you having a look at WoW?
There you can feel the devs cares for the players and they are doing their best to make people have fun.
Farewell and don't be fooled you done a great and difficult job.

QFE, sad but true, it's only about $$$ and it's funny because I think they couldn't find better ways to sink the game than they are actually doing...
