Thread: ARE SOE VIOLATING CONSUMER RIGHTS?

There is a law that says the product has to be as described by the manual, or package instructions. Though the package says they have the right to change it, the expectation is that the information in the manual has to apply. Don't know about you, but mine is so far out of date and useless.

As for the example I pulled up, there are specific laws against some of what SOE has done. However like I said our chances of enforcing the EULA or them enforcing it is next to nothing because of the decrease in subscribers and the lack of profit involved.

*sigh*

To me... it's not if they are or not... it's that there's even a DISCUSSION about this... by multiple people... in semi-serious fasion...

I run Ubuntu Linux and play SWG with Cedega. Give the live CD a try, you'll like it

this is m ylatest gripe with them (i put in a seperate post ) but this post seems to share the same vibe

I am disgusted in how CSR has dealt with my complaint!

Someone I know has an exploited account with 3 characters on one server.

I report this to the CSRs as this is clearly unfair to every other single paying customer

The response was that there was no exploit (wrong) and now the guy is emailling me in game telling me he knows I did this!

NO THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG!!

The system clear states that privacy is respected etc etc. well excuse me if I wonder why then that this person knows this and the fact the CSRs havent done a damn thing about it.

I am thinking of the legal repremands here on my privacy agreement which was broken by a CSR!

If i find this post gets deleted too, it will onl yfuel my fire, so lease respond accordingly and not just to delete my thread!
