This was disbaled due to an un-named member who found a way to creativly add things to his signature and topics that the Devs werent allowing us to.

In order to stop other people from doing it, certain tags are now restricted.

Im so sad about this...I want to update my colors and quote on sig but cannot change it due to the new restriction. Any chance this will be lifted or revised?

With the style attribute disabled, many things aren't possible. But many things can still be done with regular HTML attributes:

You can change the font face
And the font size
And its colour
Or a combination of them
And, you can still use horizontal rules
Plus all the usual HTML tricks
So you can still do some cool things!

There are still things you can do via regular html, but as the above have posted, style tags are no longer usable. There was a recent incident that was the button pushing so to speak (we had been dealing with people using the tag inappropriately) that caused us to turn it off permanently.

Unfortunately a few people that could not control themselves ruined it for everyone, since it would be almost impossible to catch anyone that chose to do this with the amount of people we have registered to use the forum.

Also remember you can change your icon, border (depending on forum rank) and other information in the left pane of your display for post

So I wonder if I can keep my current sig as long as I don't try to edit it?

btw... in reference to my sig... it's out of date, I gave up TKM for dancer.. /sigh. Then Holo #4 was silent. 25 professions to go working on Musician now. Don't know if I'll be able to keep up my interest. Battlefield: Vietnam is looking more and more enticing every time I see "Shuttle will arrive in 9 minutes 42 seconds".
