I have to admit, I am really impressed. Thank-you for your hard work Devs!
(And QA, and testers, and everyone who helped, and their Mothers. Fathers too.)

A pat on the back is definately in order.

I have been seeing positive changes across the board with RESULTS from the devs.

For me personally, these changes came at a perfect time...I had been starting to despair about the direction of the game. Many of my in-game friends had left and was I playing with the idea of pulling my two accounts and leaving.

However with the dev activity I have seen over these past 3 weeks and the marked improvements, I will be sticking around.

When I started playing SWG I had intentions of playing it for years. The Devs have given me a new hope that this will be the case.

And congrats on what has been the smoothest major publish I have ever seen. Usually after one gets pushed out the "issues" and "discussion" threads are chaos for a while. As of this writing there are 72 posts in the issues thread and only 26 posts in the discussion thread...and many of theses posts are simply confusion on how the veteran rewards work.

I still believe SWG has the most potential of ANY MMO offering today.

Someone at my wifes work expressed an interest in starting SWG. I gave her a 2 week trial disk I got in a MaximumPC magazine to pass to him. I think I would have steered him to another game two months ago instead of passing the disk on.

Keep up the good work devs! I for one have been feeling like a valued customer lately.

Dear Devs, (have not often used "dear" in referring to them)

I want to thank you for whatever happened to change the attitudes of those running this game. IT is amazing how different things are from just 2 months ago. I dont think the turnaround could have been any more dramatic, and unexpected. With the last 2 patches you have gone lightyears (if you'll pardon the pun) towards restoring the trust that had been squandered over the last year. The items and changes in the last patch are sheer brilliance. The new new tef system is genius, I find my entire guild more hopeful for the future of the game with so much effort going into actually making improvements those who live in the world you created have been asking for, many of them since not long after launch. I for one am glad we stuck it out and lived to see such days. Thank you for taking these steps, they mean more than you know. Well Done Devs, well done!!!

I agree whole-heartedly! The team is doing an excellent job! This publish was what a lot of people wanted to see, and its path to live was smooth as well! I really appreciated the better communication and bug discussion on test center. This is the direction publications should be going, and it's great to see the progress.

When it came out on TC, someone described it as a "wish list of old bugs and issues that needed to be fixed."

Publishes 12-13 have been the best put into the game so far.

The past two months have been impressive in terms of increased communication and responsiveness to player issues. The new plans and updates indicate that these changes are pervasive, not just looking back to fix old issues, but looking forward to attempt to make the game more fun and exciting.

With the new level of enthusiasm shown by the development team, I am encouraged about all the changes--even ones that haveworried me. I know that if a change turns out not to have been a good idea, someone in the development team WILL notice and WILL care and WILL make the necessary adjustments to continue improving the game.

So THANK YOU, SOE team for your hard work and great communication. This looks to be a GREAT year to be playing SWG.

I could write a note that would not be near as eloquent as the originial post.

I'll just say this........

BEST PATCH EVER RELEASED!

Thanks for rewarding us for our loyalty and thanking us for not quitting even though it has crossed our minds.....Well, I guess it hasn't ever crossed my mind. Hope it's a sign of what it is ahead (combat upgrade).

I AGREE. I think you guys are doing a great job. I have expressed some consternation about the phase 4 bug, but 99% of the time, I think you guys are awesome . It's like that GEICO commercial where they try to get 100% satisfaction. Nude pics of female staff members sent to me would help me become 100% satisfied... just a thought .

These are all well-deserved compliments. I'm ashamed I hadn't found this before now. Great work, SWG Team. You all have me in a better all-around mood these days.

I love this publish.
The one thing that stands out is I noticed a lot less lag and smoother gameplay.

Of course I love everything else but Ireally enjoyed the rebel space missions from the Rori space station.
Also the duty missions from the same station are a lot of fun.

I was pleasently shocked when the missions spawned agressors along with ties and interceptors in the middle waves.

Great Job Devs!
