BBC code doesnt work but any tags that do html like <B> to make stuff bold or
<i> to make stuff italic etc. Most of the code is similar to BBC except you use greaterthan and less than instead of [].

Go to your profile, click preferences, and uncheck the WYSIWYG editor. Save the changes, and you'll be able to use FF to post again.

firefox is not supported by lithium (withhold arguments of why you think it should be but its not) I use it exclusively though and I can use the graphical editor just fine, on my work and home computers, so it is probably some personal setting keeping you from using it.
This is simply incorrect.
The Lithium Website clearly states otherwise. (Scroll to the bottom)

Litium says its Enterprise Forums product has:
Wide browser support
Despite their unique breadth of browser-demanding and sophisticated features, Lithium Enterprise Forums provide 96% to 99% browser coverage for the end user. Lithium InterActive is fully supports IE. 4.0 and above for Windows, Netscape 6 and above for Windows, AOL 4.0 and above, I.E 5.22 for Mac, Safari 1.0, Mozilla 1.0 and above (official versions only), Firefox 1.0 and above (official versions only), Opera 7.2.3. The advanced WYSIWYG editor is supported for IE 5.5 and above, Mozilla 1.3b and above, and Firefox 1.0 and above. Browser detection rules allow the support of older browsers with reduced functionality.
It would be better if the WYSIWYG option was not the default or the browser was autodetected and disabled the feature automatically. BTW, the submit button is still non functional in the WYSIWYG mode with Firefox 1.0.5 It seems that Lithium intends to support it, yet it is currently broken. SOE appears to be paying for this functionality and is not getting it.
This is not a new thing
