Thread: Player Selected Best Employee Award Tiggs (/sign)
The only member of the SOE team that actually spoke "With" its customers was " Calandryl" (sp) but because his hands became to tied up in the burocracy and wasn't allowed to speak the truth, he left.
This CU fiasco is the managment teams idea to compete with WoW, hence all the colorful icons, level system, new world where you unlock areas.
All that was needed was to balance the existing system, bring armor inline, reduce buffs, remove all dot weapons, give cm's 75%pvp reduction and FIX every profs specials.
Now with the CU here we are back at day one, ie june 26/03. This game is almost as buggy as back then.
I give it 4-6 months until all crafting is REMOVED from the game. Crafting at the PRE-CU level was just too advanced for the Management team to understand so they nerf it! Along with Dancers/Musicians/ID's and Doc's
So what do we have left an Imitation of WoW without the quests. Oh ya thats going to bring in customers.
Yes this game was broken before the CU but it could have been saved. Alot of people played SWG simply because it was not Level based. Also you could have a viable character that never had to fight (crafter/musician) that has been removed from the game. There aremany Die Hard Star Wars fans that regardless what is done to this game they will stay. I wish them luck, I really do.
The best time in the game was july-oct 03 that was fun!

For all of you whiners who have nothing better to do than derail this thread, please smeg off and start your own.
This isn't a 'we think SoE is great' thread or a 'we agree with all you say' thread, this is simply an appreciation thread for someone who stayed up 23+ hours to ensure that customers had continuous interactive feedback.
SoE does have a ways to go with their CS, but this is the first concrete proof that they are listening and are making changes to ensure that we, the customer, are starting toget better service.
Tiggs did a damned fine job today, and if you're all too bitter and twisted to be capable of showing a little appreciation, the least you can do is take it elsewhere.

Tiggs is a disgrace to CS. All we get are lies and no answers. As far as I'm concerned Tiggs does not represent me as Director of Community Relations. I would request someone else to take my issues to as Tiggs can't handle the job.

Some CSRs and moderators on this board are excellent at what they do and are very very helpful. Indeed, nearly all of them more deserving of such a vote than your suggestion.

Got to agree with Wolfus comment too - The sig used is highly offensive and is probably infringing advertising codes of practice

I myself have come down hard on Tiggs, but I have to wonder how much of her lack of interactivity and customer service is her own doing, and how much of it is orders from Smedley (who presumably is her supervisor)?
I really doubt the poor customer service, and the lack of communication is an accident, or is being done out of pure meanness. This is a $3 million/month cash cow, to behave that way without reason is suicide.
My theroy of the moment is, like before the CU, they aren't telling us anything because they know the answer will anger us and cause many more to /cancel.
I suspect that the truth is that it's going to be months, even a year, before all the fixing, rebalancing, and revamps related to the CU are done, they know this, they know we won't like it one bit, especially given that I'd bet money that there will be another expansion released before the end of the year...
So, they can't tell us that. Since they can't tell us what we want to hear, they will tell us nothing instead, having decided that losing a thousand here and a thousand there is better than losing 50 thousand in a single month.
