If i send a picture of my character in his hot pants in to you could you make it into a wallpaper? got a great 1 of me getting visited by the old man.

Hi
I have a ATI Radeon 9550 with 256mb as well,
I can enable alot of futures with this baby but as soon as i turn on the shadows to full it gets laggy though.
You happen to know if that is caused cause of the lack of RAM? I currently have 1024MB RAM and can put an extra 512 in a remaining slot. So you think if i drop the extra memory chip of 512mb in it, that it will reduce the graphical lag as well? I know the "crowd lag" for example; Coronet Starport will be reduced this way, but i'm not sure if it will reduce the lag of graphical performance as well.

It is caused by the way the cards handle the shadows. The new cards out (X800/6800) series handle the shadows a lot better with the edge going to the nVidia cards. Older cards are not as forgiving with volumetric shadows.

Hmm...I always wonderred wich video card would support Galaxies the best, using both Bloom and full shadows.

Nice pic GarVa. Looking forward to what else you have up your sleve for the wallpapers.
One question though, Is that from a live server or do you get your screen shots for these things off of an internal Dev server?
