The forum account is started exactly when you register here at the forums, so your game/forum account don't go together.But if you cancel your game account your forum account is canceled too.

I don't know why your forum account didn't update.. there has been some issues with names updating.

Maybe they'll give you.....

The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

This is exactly why, your date is June 05 which you have the 1 month requirement, but you don't have the 50 posts required as well.

So, let me make sure I understand. If I spam the boards to get 50 posts, I'll go up to rank 2. If I do nothing, my next promotion opportunity at the 2 month markwill be Required for rank 3 (Sr. Member) 2 month minimum (Edit Granted)

Do forum ranks update automatically? I am overdue for the next rank, but I'm still showing as a new member?

Also the game account associated with this board accountis well over a year old -- kinda sucks being a new member

Or are the board/game accounts totally seperate?

Not sure if that works all the time still. I have had my same rank ever since I can remember and I have a couple of posts AND I have been playing for a little while.

I posted this somewhere else too, you could be the victim of the 1 star bandits. Though the star system was turned off, some people have still been affected by their old star ranking.

while we are on the subject of ranks. Should mine have changed? i cant work out whatI should be I have been registered for 2 years and have 548 posts.. Forgive me im a wookie =P

SOE are the best BH's in the world they killed off every jedi in the universe with one idea.
If carlsberg ran a server it would be a pre-cu.

Do remember that when the CU was happening and the forums got overloaded they rushed out the next Lithium version in the hope it would help, it broke the system for updating ranks (along with the password cookiee and a few others).

A couple of the minor bugs seem to have been fixed, but the others are waiting on Lithium putting time into them.

NB: Any comments I make on TC code can and often do change

before they reach live and may not reach live at all, please read my

comments with that in mind.
