Thread: Why was Pub 22 released less than 24 hrs from TC?
Why the sudden change from the stated new policy of priority on bug fixing before release?
I would like to hear from community relations on this please.

Its sad, I was hoping for better things after recent posts from Tiggs and others

There are some controversial changes there (xp nerf). And things (such as vehicle generation delay) that aren't working.

community relations- dont make me laugh
Premise 1: ALL SOE employees care nothing about the opinions of their customer base.
Premise 2: All SWG DEV's are employees of SOE.
Conclusion: Therefore you can conclude that, ALL SWG DEV's care nothing about the opinions of their customer base.
Point 1: Smuggler Revamp
Point 2: CU being rushed into live without proper upper level testing ( Jedi , master professions, etc )
Point 3: Pub 22 pushed to live after only 24 hrs of being tested on the Test Center
Point 4: Everything is working as intended ( such a cop-out to hide behind )-- and intended by who?? SOE suits??? DEV's ??? WHO???
It's all really simple... if you like the game realize this ( everything that you used to love about this game -- will be changed -- don't get used to it ) --
Fan Fests are just that ( an event to appease the Fans while making no real changes that the fans want ) --
UNLESS YOU ARE AN EMPLOYEE OF SOE --- YOUR OPINION DOES NOT COUNT

No thanks, fix the core systems before they release any more "content" (which will of course be filled with new and wonderful bugs).

Well since the bug fix publishes are not doing anything except creating more bugs can we at least start getting some content?Or are both of those on hold at the moment?

The answer to ths question is very simple.
SOE is not going to spend any time fixing the bugs we find in test center anyway, so might as well just release it. That way they also don't have to worry about too many people complaining about the TC and turning the rest of the player base off to the game/publish.
This is just more evidence that the community is ignored by the community relations department.
Tiggs,
I had praised you and how much better you and SOE had been doing in the Community relations department in the past couple publishes. If this is the type of service we can expect to get, I might have to take it all back.
Please don't kill the game. Or if you are, tell us that is what you are trying to do so we can just quit and don't have to spend any more of our hard earned dollars (yes I realize the irony of this statement as I sit at work typing this) and hours of play time on something that is going to be scrapped anyway.
Fearing for the state of the game,

Now there's the question of the day!
To keep word from spreading the group experience was being cut. Simple as that.

That is exactly right. This whole development process for the group xp nerf has been one deceptive act compounded upon another.
1. Untruthful Patch notes suggesting there was only a change to the way xp was displayed.
2.Skimpy testing so no one would notice.
3. Not displaying the actual Xp earned so it will be harder for players realize how badly they have been nerfed on XP.
4.Tiggs claiming she didn't know whether change was intended or not. Even giving her the beneift of the doubt and she didn't know either someone lied to her or it suggest she didn't do her job.
SOE is showing their true colors on this one. They don't actually want feedback on whether we like changes or not. They obviously don't care. Thats why when everyone reacted negatively to change, they pulled it off test center and tested internal until they were ready to spring it on us.
I guess you have been caught red handed this time SOE.

Indeed. Why this company feels it needs to be deceptive with its customer base is incomprehensible. It is blatantly obvious that this isa premeditated lie to the customers given that the detailed patch notes didn't (and still don't) mention that group xp has been changed. Pathetic.
