While EQ 2 has an awesome community site EQ2 PLAYERS I propose we (SWG Players) can have such a detailed and well developed community site. All the things which are applied for EQ2 Players site can done likely to SWG Players site (mothly fee for full access, etc). All needed to be done is get SWG also into Station Players project.
I hope we'll see some fun in this game, at least in community relations part.
Thanks

This was talked about at Fan Fest, it isn't something the Developers of the game would work on. The department that does the station players website and such is the web team at SOE in San Diego (Where as the Devs are in Austin) and that department is in charge of if/when it'll be done. The Devs have asked for it, but it's up to SOE Corporate pretty much on when it'd get scheduled to be worked on.
I'd personally love to see it as well.

Those poor Devs take a lot of heat for SOE being out of touch with it's customers. Lucas Arts has a better web site and a better web staff. The world knows it.

Our site is next in line to get a new look and feel. We do not have a solid date on when this will happen at this time.

Cool, I really hope they optimize it so it loads faster.. it really does load slow. So I favorite'd the forums to save me 5 minutes of loading the homepage.. but still. Plus the look of the main site didn't keep up with your designs, it still looks old.

That's great to heare Tiggs! The site is getting a little out dated and could use a facelift. Especially that bloody video!

I for one would not pay for full access to a SWG site. I am already paying for 4 accounts, and they still cannot get the game fixed.
And what is up with no updates on the fixes inwork for the game? I understand that it takes time to fix the bugs, but how about a thread that lists the known bugs and the status of the fixes.

Is this accurate? They CHARGE you for "full access" to a website for a game they already pay for?
Please tell me I'm misunderstanding this...

You understand correctly. They have a la carte features on eq2players that people have the option of paying extra for. Things like guild/server statistics, access to guildchat from outside of the game, and item stats. The item stats would not even be viable in swg due to the dynamic (thankfully) nature of crafting. These features would be wonderful if they were provided as part of the subscription, but being forced to pay 10-20% extra is silly and something I would not be party to (here or there).

Do people actually pay for that extra service on eq2players.com? I got it for free when I was subscribed to Station Access...
I'm looking forward to the new design, BTW!!
