You don't have to talk to a moderator for it. If you know no HTML do it like this:

  1. click on reply on this thread
  2. in the WYSIWYG editor that you use to reply write your signature like you want it.
  3. click on "view as HTML" below the textfield
  4. copy whatever stuff is in the HTML textfield
  5. paste that into the signature textarea in your profile
  6. done

You cannot use "HTML", but we're allowed basic html

Follow the instructions above.

3.A - Click "Preview Post", it will then automaticly remove anything that these forums don't like

"this i need a moderator" in non-sense, they're just going to tell you the same thing we are, so save them the time and TRY what you've been told.

As you can see we all have HTML in our SIGs and we didn't need special permission

The WYSIWYG Editor is the Thing where you type your posts. The one with the buttons above to format text (bold, italics, size).

What are the chances they could impliment signatures to be dynamically centered? I wouldn't mind being able to use the width="" tag in a few elements also. That'd be the uber shizzle.

I think the best partof this entire thread/problem is that a lot of us cut and pasted real html way back when for our sigs and it worked fine. Now when we edit anything in them we are doing something wrong. Something changed. All of the above is a great idea but ultimately silly. Is IS permission based. The forum administrator(s) need to turn it on. That's all. It's another classic case of someone working for SOE doing the half best at something.

Sorry, but no. After what happened last time we can't afford to take that chance.

So, from what I heard, a small few ruined it for everyone then.....? I don't mind a story; I've got plenty of popcorn stashed away. LOL.

Don't mind me; I'm just addicted to stalking the devs and mods via dev & community tracker.
