Thread: New Rage of the Wookiees skins problem

I dislike the Rage of the Wookiee skins, mostly due to the fact that the background for forum posts is not a nice solid black, but rather a shade of dark brown. This is hard on the eyes, so I changed the skin back to my favorite Entertainer Purple.
On doing so, I discovered that the Rage of the Wookiees picture and pagemargins *remain* on the screen as an 'inset' within the Entertainer skin, and the forum messages etc are *within* those margins.
Please fix this problem as soon as possible.
And never ever use any colors other than black or white as backgroundcolors for forum posts. Either white/colored text on a black background, or black/colored text on a white background. Nothing else is acceptable.

Aslo I have the dumb wookie banner under every regular skin banner... Someone messed up here..

this really needs to be fixed. if you pick a different skin it layers them 1 inside the other. also screens such as in profile when you have tabs you cannot read them at all. i know it's not my monitor and will take screen shots if need be.

Have the same issue. Saying it's "annoying" is like saying drowning is a "slight increase in water". Fix it. Please?

I've had the JtL skin set on my account for quite a while, I know have the JtL skin, and banner plus the RotW banner under the JtL banner, and some of the colours (like the borders around posts) are now browns/deep reds where they used to be JtL themed colours (whites/blues from what I remember).

PS is there any reason all the new skins have those huge banners at the top? My favourite skin of all time is the "Starwars Galaxies" skin (the original one from when the game was released), I only switched away from it a few months ago because looking at it every day for nearly two years got a bit much! Its good points are A) its work-safe as it only has a small banner at the top, B) it (like the JtL skin) has a smaller font, and less wasted "white space" around the page, meaning that posts take up less space, and you can read the pages with much less scrolling.
I'd really love to see another "lightweight" skin like the "Starwars Galaxies" one, with a thin banner along the top, a minimum of wasted space on the page, and without huge font sizes. If you guys are looking for ideas for future skins.

Ditto, wookie banner won't go away and takes the place of everything. Not exactly work friendly.

What everyone else above said. The new Rage of the Wookiees banner is horrible. Fix it so that it works the same as the other themes.
The ROTW 2 theme looks good but the entire page is filled with the above theme banner and then the one I choose, and then you have the problem that the ROTW2 theme colours are off and nothing is readable. Black against almost black-brown

i have the jedi skin, however the stupid wookie skin is still imposed just under my prefered skin. I hate the colors, i hate the margins, and i hate that i am forced to use the wookie skin.
FIX THIS!

Same problem as well. Probably a ploy to boost some fake stats. Now they'll say something like,
"100% of our players LOVE the RoTW content. They ALL chose the RoTW theme for the forums! Further proof that we're giving them what they want."

Chalk up another 'wookiee as inset' here
No matter the skin the RotW skin stays as inset {except if RotW is chosen}
