Inorder to preorder ToOW, do we have to do it through the lucas arts website or will we eventually get to preorder it through the station store?

It's not available yet, but my guess is that it will be in the station store, and on the launchpad, as that was how ROTW could be pre-ordered.

Any Dev feel free to correct me.

Tiggs, a question, will we be looking at some silly "pre-order reward" scheme like the last pack, where if you download it, you get one reward, or if you buy it retail you get something else?

I believe that this expansion is only available through digital download. However, you do get the 8 passenger skiff for pre-ordering.

yes thats part of the pre-order reward scheme thingy. if you pre-order you get to play it before its actual go live date. ofcourse those who are prone to conspiracy theory might suggest that its all just a ploy to try to get you to pre-order or that by playing it a week before its actual release you are pre-ordering so that you can beta test for a week.

Me I dont care if its borked on the 25th I'll still bepre-ordering.

just an observation, but I believe this could have something to do with it:
because soe/verand is incompetant and unwilling to devote the time, resources, and production values necessary to work with their partner on licensed intellectual property....they prefer to do everything at the last minute if not 5 minutes after, and do not care if the quality suffers or the potential is not reached....we've seen this time and time again folks, shouldn't be suprised at this point. They only care about inhouse stuff...that's where they see the profit potential.

for those who wish to preorder right now, go here:

http://store.lucasarts.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=104412;category_id=

there, you have it folks, preorder direct from the owner of the IP

apparently, Quiet420 > SOE

according to the Star Wars store (from StarWars.com where you can already purchase it) there is another reward that is well worth it in my opinion. I won't give details, as I know some hate spoiliers, but trust me, there seems to be a cool reward on top of the 8 passenger skiff.

and I'm waiting for them to put it here on this site...I had some problems ordering from the star wars store before, so I'm just going to wait.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Hello Tiggs,

as stated above it's already avaible on lucasarts website. It seems you have communication issues with external actors as LucasArts.

Anyway I preordered it wven if I should stay away from Obiwan quests as they are game breaking for me.
