Is the combat balance coming this summer some time, or is coming out with JtL. Also, is the GCW getting addressed in the CB or is it a seperate issue. Thanks for clearing up my confusion.

i've read publish 11 but it's all rumour and speculation coz the devs ain't sayin'

I think GCW changes will happen during the release of space expansion ( I hate the jump to lightspeed title

).

In the order jedi revampo , possibly somthing stupid , then Combat revamp , then SE along with GCW "revamp"

Publish 11 it seems definately...also the time of the GCW

I believe around the time of Publish 12 or 13 is when JTL comes out...

Publish 9 is coming in 1-3 weeks prolly...then after that, 12 weeks for CB...so we're prolly seeing around 15 weeks more of waiting (Each publish is 6 weeks apart about)

Which brings us on Tuesday, September 16th...yikes...JTL is coming out in the Fall...

Damn..wished I didnt figure that out. So heh...after 14.5 months, commando will be finally fixed..wow...

The CB better be good...

Last report I heard was that it had been delayed to Publish 11 but that won't be confirmed until JustG "OFFICIALLY" posts his State of the Game in a few days...His State of the Game was posted recently on accident and included some issues that were still being discussed & approved...so if you saw a copy (there has been many copies posted in various threads) take it all with a grain of salt at this point...

The good news is that I haven't heard of any delay on the Combat Test Server (although they never really set an official date for release on that one)...as far as I know it is suppose to go live shortly after Publish 9 goes live...

For something that is suppose to DRASTICALLY effect all combat in game, I would almost prefer a longer testing phase...that way we can test, make suggestions, and test updated versions the programmers make based on our suggestions...rinse and repeat until we have a Combat Balance we can compete in...

But from the looks of it, it does look like they want the GCW revamp to go hand in hand with the Combat Rebalance...so both are most likely coming with Publish 11...

In the meantime, while we wait, I will continue to push for mini-publish changes to items like our Grenades and poke the Devs for more info on the "new commando tree" ideas they are reportedly kicking around...

Well from wat i read some where the CB is suppose to go along with Publish 10 but who knows ecerything changes real quick in this game!

yeah if my math is right...and the CB isnt until late August/early sept.....a CB testing proving grounds right after publish 9 is 12 WHOLE weeks of testing....this THIS is a hell lot of time...which is great

...and hopefully ill be there for the 12 whole weeks too...

Well...even if it was publish 10, thats still a good 7-8 weeks away...which would make the CB land between late july and early august from June 5th.

This is going to be MASSIVE....the testing itself prolly will take this long, if the CB has to be delayed...I say at Publish 11 rather than 10. Remember people, we want the devs to do this right...and especially since they've acknowledged some of the big things in our profession are in need of work, and are being worked on.

The CB is the "Day of Days" for commando...we want to take the beachead and win...

The "leaked state of the game letter" says Pub 11. Pub 9 isn't likely to come for another 3 weeks either, 'cause of all the bugs on TC.
