1. Flame and HAR DOT damage not counting toward recorded damage for loot rights. The y seemed honestly suprised by this and took notes. Expecting a change.
2. Grenade speeds and actual results from use. As we all know grenades are pretty useless in their current state. Allowing grenades a lower speed as well as area state effects (stun, dizzy, KD, bleed, blind) was stated as "highly likely" in the combat rebalance.
3. Heavy weapons accuracy. The game system for determining a hit on the player target -Player accuracy skill mods + accuracy mod of weapon + any skill tapes + accuracy enhancing foods. As we all know the heavy weapons skill tapes for our profession have never worked, and if you look at your HAR and Flamer you will see the weapons accuracy is pretty low. Best case for us accuracy wise we are looking at about +130 at ideal range. Compare that to a rifleman who best case is looking at +245 at ideal range. Against a player target with stacked defenses, food, and skill tapes we have a very modest success rate to hit compared to the other ranged professions. The Devs are aware of our skill tapes not working and stated that they would provide us new tapes in the combat rebalance. Theyseemed unaware of the impact of our low accuracy at ideal rangein their current state compared to thecurrent best ranges of other ranged weapons. Look for improvements to be implemented here as well.
Sorry I don't have more for you, but it was only a 1 hourranged combat forum.

Thanks for the information and keep up the great work...if you get a chance, ask them about our Container Launcher idea (ammo packs instead of having seperate consumable weapons)...also any info you can gleam off of them about adding an assult rifle would be great....
Just some note on your previous questions:
1. Flame and HAR DOT damage not counting toward recorded damage for loot rights. The y seemed honestly suprised by this and took notes. Expecting a change.
The HAR doesn't have a DOT (you may want to bring that up)...and I'm surprised that they were surprised...
2. Grenade speeds and actual results from use. As we all know grenades are pretty useless in their current state. Allowing grenades a lower speed as well as area state effects (stun, dizzy, KD, bleed, blind) was stated as "highly likely" in the combat rebalance.
I have made our Grenades a priority issue for awhile, so hopefully they have had plenty of time to make plans for the CB...

Not sure if you have, but read our Answer this week from TH's 19 Answers...In there he talks about some of this as well as granting us possibly another tree...I'd rather see them use our old Heavy Weapon Looted Mods (since we all have them waiting) then give us all new ones we have to hunt down...push for that...lol

I hope it turns out good for us. If they actually make the Grenades and our heavy ordnance viable in PvP, then you will not find a more happy commando chucking grenades and using HPBC's.
I just need to stay out of the blast radius of my Proton Grenades.

Yes I did bring up the HAR not having a DOT.It is silly that we are a hybrid elite combat professionand only get 1 weapon that is of of any use. Other professions have "situational weapons" like we have the HAR, but their specials all work with those other weapons. This is supposedly going to be addressed in the rebalance as well, and that is why I included the HARin my request for DOT dmg to be counted toward loot rights.
Note: They say that there are plans to implement a new weapon in the master box as they have done with Pistoleers and the new DE-10. No other details were given.
