just a quick one, i was discussing the armour nerf in the up and coming rebalance and i suggested that perhaps that the HAR should put a DoT on a player's armour, for instance because it is an acid rifle, it would corode the player's armour a bit faster (of course it couldnt be TOO strong) - but because it doesnt land a dot like the FT does, perhaps this would make the HAR the weapon of choice for commandos.
i also think that commandos need a higher justification for having unarmed 4, replace the god-awful field tactics with some melee skills and better defences (such as defence vs. KD, dizzy, blindness etc). perhaps, putting in something similar to pistolwhip. back when i was a commando, i was also TKM so I found myself getting my VK out, KD/Dizzy, then burning the person with my flamer.
im not going to talk about grenades, cos we all know they suck and are gonna get nerfed.
as for heavy weapons, i think commandos need better heavy weapons. as a commando, i never used a lightning cannon or a heavy particle beam (or whatever they were called) because most big things have 100% resist to electricity, so really I didnt see the justification of having one other than to show off
. I did, however, use my rocket launcher, especially agaisnt AT-STs and turrets but really I dont think its powerful enough. I had a RL with 3791 max dmg, unfortunately i got a speed slice on it, but I think that either they should make the RL faster, or slower and more damage. Perhaps even implement a machine gun (doom style chaingun perhaps) or a reloadable rocket launcher.
there, im finished, time to do some revision.

They wont go for it due to griefing issues. People dont like to lose their armor as is...
