...weird as it sounds I was giving the Inquisitor in the Weapons Dev a kick in and found to my surprise I had landed a bleed DoT on him - the icon was next to the flame one in his target box. I had hit him with flamesingle1 and 2 and flamecone2, stupid thing is I didn't check the combat queue to see if the bleed had ticked.

Any ideas?

Supposedly, Every weapon has a chance to hit A bleed. I've seen TK's do it all the time. The flame thrower, probably just has a very low chance. This must have just been your lucky minute. Hope that helps.

Happens to me now and then after I /flamesingle2. Aint often but if I'm on a hunt it happens a couple times or more.

Lucky minute? Heh I was fighting an Imp Inquisitor, must have been my lucky ten minutes.

I belive how it works is based on how much damage is delt in a single hit. So say if a weapon hits for1k or morein a single shot it might have a % in landing a bleed.
