Okay, with the rise of more and more "uber" defensive templates (TKM + Fencer, or Fencer Pistoleer, or even Rifleman/TKM, etc) -

it would be very useful if /aim allowed you to run while using it.

with specials, it is very very difficult to hit the highly-defensive templates, and when you /aim before a shot, you are forced to stand still (in my limited experience with it). for pvp, that's useless

I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to review this skill and consider suggesting a revamp so that you could keep running while aiming.

at master rifle, i feel i should be able to /aim; /headshot2 while running for the +100 bonus to accuracy, but take a hit to firing speed (at +95 i should take 1 second for /aim and 1 second for /headshot2).

no?

i don't think this would be overpowered, considering the massive defensive templates available now. just throwing that out there -

on top of that, FIX BLOCK! (And Pikeman!) (AND MAKE US STACK WITH 2hand sword! hehe).

I was just curious how many of you other commandos use the /aim command?

I have a macro that i use in PvP that is simply: /aim /aim /aim. Not sure exactly how much extra accuracy 3 stacked aims is, but i normally just press that macro then hit /flamesingle2 just afterwards. Seems to help my accuracy alot, and of all the times i've tried it in PvP,i've hit. Also i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the /aim command also helps heavy weapons accuracy? It'd be very nice if it did, since firing a heavy weapon is just like using a special on a gun.

/aim will help with the HAR, FT, and LP, but not your rl, hpbc, etc. Citrus snowflake will help with those though. Also, I think 2 /aim's will stack.

I'm using /aim all the time, even in PvE. When I check my enemy, the accuracy "meter" gains 25 for one /aim.
Have a few normal macros setup like this:

/attack;
/aim;
/firesingel2;

And equal for cone2, acid specials. Never use the HAR but they could be good to have if it gets to be a viable weapon.
Reason for the /attack is so I don't need to be attacking first. /aim won't work if you're not in battle already, at least not last time I tried it.

So do three /aims stack, or can you only stack 2?

hey folks just started out comando and need some advice. So far i think I used aim like the 1st few weeks in beta and thats it. I see alot of people say to use aim as a comando.

so a few questions

At master do we have enough +acc to stop using /aim?

to use it correctly do you just equipt ft/lagomatic(pistol) and then hit the /aim?

Does anyone know how much /aim adds to you accuracy score and how long does it last?

Thanks guys any info will help me out

ohoh oh, forgot im goinna end up smuggler /comando(not sure if any pistol or not) how well does the lagomatic work with smuggler specials?

We do not have enough accuracy to not use /aim. it is better with the FT but definitely not with the HW.

Edit for spelling

depends on what you're doing, perhaps you should check the knowledge base.
