Well, since you don't have Pistoleer you should go up to Flame 4 (either using the Launcher or the Flamethrower, depending on which one you can grind faster with). Then after that it really doesn't matter which tree you tackle because XP is capped at 3,000 anyway.

The Heavy Weapons tree requires less xp so its faster to grind, and the Heavy Acid Rifle takes more xp (not to mention the gun is completley worthless).

Lmao @ the Welcome comment.

Anyway, yeah. Lag Pistol up to Flame 2 actually worked really well, once you have Flame Single and Flame Cone you can easily HIT your target, provided you use AIM/Snow cakes.

I am a 3000 commando and TKM and Smuggler. I know to grind to flame 3 with the lag pistol then what? I will start by droping spices from the smug line to add skill due to the fact I am at 0 skill points. My guess is to hit flame 4 then it dosent matter. Any help?

I also plan on keeping the DF line untill I need to drop it. I would drop TKM but Meditation is too usefull to drop ever in my opinion.
