were is a good place to get a carbine on lowca server. im a 1403 marksmen and i started about two weeks ago and i also need to know a good place to train rifle and carbine. i think i have a dl20 rifle and two good pistols.

I recently achieved sufficient boxes in commando and smuggler that I am questioning if haveing master Marksman is useful when im low on points

You'd end up spending an additional 34 points to master Marksman, just to get +5 Ranged Defense, +25 General Ranged Accuracy, and +15 General Ranged Speed (all from the Master Marksman box). If you're planning on using a rifle or carbine, it might not be a bad idea, since you also get modifiers for them as you progress in their respective branches.

Another option you may consider is to pick up some Pistoleer (with Commando and Smuggler, you already have the pre-requisites done for it). You can get some nice defenses, Stopping Shot, etc. that might be a better use of those skill points.
