Thread: Commando Weapons & Carbineer Specials?

Commandos,
I wanted to make a Rebel toon who is a Commando (for the Plasma Flamethrower, Rocket Launcher, and Proton Rifle) and a Carbineer (for the cool RebelBattle Armor.)
It also seems to me, that as long as a Flamethrower is considered an "automatic weapon" and can be used with Full Auto and Suppression Fire, that Carbineer special abilities and Commando weapons would go hand-in-hand.
So, do any of the Commando weapons work with Carbineer specials?
My template would be: Master Commando, Master Carbineer, 4000 Combat Medic. (High damage output, AoE specialist, KD king.)

Is the PFT concidered a Automatic now?
Las i tryed it was not
(long time ago)
Also Leg Shot works really well since it has the best damage boost of all specials (ecept mabey sniper shot)

My template includes Master Carbineer, and I have yet to get an error message when using my specials with my heavy weapons 
I think the statement that full auto single needs an automatic weapon is from the older versions of the CU, and currently do not apply...much like the idea for weapon modes and min ranges.
