If 5 commandos landed a fire dot from a PFT does it fo 216 x 5 per tick?

You know what, since CU hit and i never even know if my DOT is working anyway, Ive not even thought to check. Hmm... I'll have to look into that

The DOT does work, it has a small flame icon that appears if you get the lucky hit on the target. As for stacking haven't seen more than 1 commando(me) using a plasma rifle(whatever it's called now-a.k.a. flame thrower) during a hunt to tell......

Yes. Fire DOTs even stack from different weapons. IE: Flame DOT from PFT will stack ontop of the DOT from the LBC (if your lucky enough to stick em both before one drops)


Afterthought: What kinda trash are you using to get 216 fire ticks? Mine are almost always 350-400

You can get the CM ticks, the Commando ticks, and the bh bleed all to stack

I average around 350, sometimes 270, sometimes 397...more often in the upper range boundries though.

here's a tip for landing big ticks: knock your target down. When your target is KD'd, their defense goes down and while it's down, DoTs hit for more, and all ticks go off the original one. So if you're hitting for 300 or so now, if you KD them first you could probably up the tick by around 20-30. These aren't hard numbers, but I can guarantee ticks will go up in damage.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I was using a made up number number not actuals. And still my question remains, can a same DoT from a same weapon from 2 or more commandos stick and tick?

I know about different DoTs stacking but...
