I don't know what jackarse dev made the decision to put a rifle that has LESS dps than a mother effing FWG5 pistol IN the master commando box AND put it as the loot drop from what is perhaps THE hardest mob in the whole damn game.

I find it completely unnaceptable that *any* proffession's master box weapon should be loot drop.

The proton rifle AND the proton carbine should be CRAFTABLE weapons. If the devs want to make it part of content then make the components drop from various creatures and npc's or from various quests...not some ungodly creature that can only be killed by almost a full group of jedi knights and who is INSIDE a bug-ridden (as in programming bugs) swarm-spawning dungeon that tear 2 full groups of elites working together before they can reach the bottom. Yes im talking about the mobs attacking you from INSIDE the walls where you cant shoot them back.

Heh.... no one listened when I fussed about it before it was released. Now you guys see, and it is moronic. Well, on the bright side I am not fussing about the game anymore, I am having a blast with the proton carbine and tearing things up much faster than I could ever dream of with any commando weapon. I am a commando by heart... I just won't wear the tag or carry the burden of a dead weight profbecause we are not demolitionists... we have firework shows. They are fun for folks that are used to low DPS, but coming from a Commando/Rfileman before the CU. That is the dps I thought we would attain especially not having any specials. I thought our weapons would make any prof hit like a ton of bricks.... nope. Best bet is to grab a pistol and fire at will... you will blow things up faster than a rocket will. Now, commando as a prof is still dependent on a flamer for his max dps in a star wars game where we have seen one flamer in any movie let alone in the accepted canon films. A Commando cannot wear armor recieved in a quest from an ex-commando. I can throw grenades as often as I can tie both shoes and go take a leak after pulling my pants on. Oh and did I mention, we rock at frying a nuna.
