CRAZY publish...
Like I said somewhere recently, we are dealing with almost a whole new core dev team, and these guys DO know what they are doing!

Most of the notes seem great, but, not trying to be a downer...
I find it bizarre they're removing AP requirements. I'm not even sure what that entails... do we no longer need AP at all for anything?
It seems like they're almost dumbing it down a little bit, but that's my personal opinion. Anyone else have any comments or explanations for me?
All the other stuff looks great though! Credit to where it's due =)
EDIT: Gotta love the upped item limit for guildhalls and other buildings! /flameThrowerSalute! Also love the no lot requirements for ships and reduced lots for guildhalls! More credit to where it's due =)

Not so much dumbing it down, originally AP was to be an interaction feature amongst professions, but in the end...it really hasn't worked and is more of a barrier than a system that creates some interdependencies...
If you think this dumbed down the game, well...when the CURB hits, SWG's IQ will go above 131!
On a more personal opinion, the AP being taken out now...could usher in master profession quests...and lay a foundation into further profession quests and a mission revamp (for the terms, and NPCs). Also, anyone notice a great deal of the recent updates have been able to free up skillpoints (so ppl can devote em to combat or crafting....Politician!) or indirectly helping us in combat (wait time for support professions reduced! Incap time reduced 50%...)
I personally think a great deal of what we're seeing are precursors to the CURB...small changes that are being pushed onto live and will help make that change to the new CURB system, changes that makes the game a bit more fun now...as gives promise a much better SWG...a SWG that is a bit more faster pace and just...fun!

This is a nice mini-publish. Got to love the storage changes. The Ap chnage is interesting if there will be a future chnage such as a master quest thta would be interesting as well. Overall i think it has just some nice changes.
I guess what is encouraging is all of a sudden it seems issues the players have been griping about for ages are finally being adressed. they two thumbs up on this one.
.... though whats up with the FF.... if they aren;t going to tell us Cu stuff can't they find some creative way to right up some of the new changes or loot... anyway
cheers!

ShipWright didn't have an ap point requirement. it just cost a freakin' ton of xp points. I think JTL was a precurser and a test on how some of these changes were going to affect the game, and it hasn't hurt us at all so far. Just some of the JTL changes i still disagree with but these TC changes are great.
But i love the change on the inventory for person and homes. They must have upgraded the database big time.

Take a look at JTL
Take a look at Jedi.
See those insane numbers required for Master boxes?
Thats what we have to look forward to. I am guessing between 1.8 and 3.6 million xp to obtain the master box soon.

Heh, it's kind of funny. Normally I'd be really exceited, but I dont' see much reason to even log in any more, so I'm playing Freedom Force instead.
Still, haven't seen any patch notes that cool since cars were implemented.

Well to get my master rank in Commando it cost me almost 650k credits to teach people. I had to pay one guy 50k a skill teach to get him to give me the time. It sucked.
