Any news yet for the Underslug carbine ? Been told they needed to work the animations. Is it right to think it will be tied to master commando like the E5 carbine and Intimidator were tied to master squad leader ?

Havent seen any post or info for a while now.

Ok, Ok, I'll go out with it already.

I was exploring the patch 17.tre in the test center files when I came across something interesting: Adraft schematic named "smuggler_quest_underslung". I looked around and found a new sound file for it, and found that it's listed in the weapons effects list, and several other things, including weapon description lists. At this point, I reported it to Starnick, and told him to ask the devs about it. I haven't heard anything back yet.

But I am now convinced that the underslung is hidden somewhere in rotw, or will be patched in (since patch 17.tre still isn't out on liveyet).

Ok, at least we are pretty sure to see it soon

Now what fear me is the "smuggler_quest" part, is it going to be shrinked and tied to smuggler? i wouildnt think so, but yet... who know?

last official word i heard on that weapon was that it wasnt making it live for a whiel because of the graphical differences in it and the animations for carrying the weapon while not in combat and such ...

I noticed the underslung sound files as well, though I also noticed that there was both a normal and _quest_smuggler_ variant. Hope this means there'll be one available for non-smugglers as well.

Though a minigun seems more like something the Terminator would use than Han Solo.

Oh man, I want the underslung =( If I get it somehow I'm slapping an ADK right on top of that bad boy. Hopefully I can get someone to run it for me, I don't have ROTW yet =(

They hadnt time to release the underslug within the CU they said. The way you re supposed to wear it and the way it fight require a brand new set of animations for this one weapon alone.

We can only hope they didnt give up working on it. Its in the TR files but not active yet.
