Thread: I think I know why
Being a programmer myself, I can understand how this is most likely true. But again, the term 'devs' describes the development team, which includes the 'evil dictators'. So while it may not be the actual coders fault for not working on what needs work... there are still members of the development team that are responsible for pissing us off. :-P
However, a lot of what's broken in this game would not take a lot of effort to fix. I just don't think that there are very many people working on this game anymore. I think a lot of the development resources have been shifted to other more lucrative projects and this one is just being 'maintained'. I added the quotes on that because I used that term very loosely... ;-)

I'd say it's more likely the bulk of dev attention right now is focused on the next expansion, supposedly another space expansion from what I heard.
Remember how they said after the launch of JtL, they were going to focus all their resources on the CU, and then the CU was hurredly pushed out, buggy as hell, with a new expansion, Rage of the Wooks?
I think that's what we have happening again. They've shifted 75% of their resources, or more, towards the next expansion rather than fixing the existing things that need work. I'm going to say that by January at the verylatest, they will start officially telling us things about a new expansion. ![]()
Personally, I just want the my damned professions fixed. Commando, ranger, and armorsmith. Those are three professions I have with various toons, and I think all are in serious need of some work, including the devs actually listening to the members of the communities in question to insure that things are done right.
