My current template is 0,1,4,4 BH... 4,4,1,1 CH... Novice Medic. I enjoy the scatter pistol and LLC a lot. The BH pistol specials are great... I seldom PvP so you can't hold Eye Shot against me

Lately, I've gotten bored anddon't feel like I have a purpose in the game though. I don't need xp anymore and credits are plentiful. BH missions are still broken and the rewards aren't worth the time investment... and they can be very boring to solo. Player bounties are months away, if they're ever implemented (this was my main driving force for becoming a BH - needless to say, I'm very disappointed). I'm Zabrak and Rebel because I refuse to pay the outrageous Imperial non-human perk costs. My LLC and pistol do very poor damage against AT-STs.

So, I got to thinking. Maybe I should switch to Commando and help the Rebs kill all the overpowered AT-STs. If I want to be a BH, I'll roll a human on another server and join the Imps.

Has anyone else made the switch to Commando from BH?

Good question. A hard one to answer though, because of so many variables. Also, if you are unaware, there is a combat balance happening presently, and will end in a few months, maybe, that will pass through all combat classes and fix/change some aspects within each of those professions. We will have to wait and see what our good friends at SOE will bring us.

I would go for commando and get some pistoleer skills just incase and also have some medic skills

I am Master BH and working on unarmed 4 atm, because i will switch to commando. I dont play PvP and dont have any detailed information but i think commando is much better for pve then bh and the flamer is much better then my llc.

I hear commando 0/0/4/0 or 0/0/4/4 is a good duo with some CH,TKA 4/0/0/0 and a bit of medic

Hey man, I believe to only way to find something out is to ask, so here's my point of view. Now, you'll hear alot of ppl say that commando isn't a good PvP class. That is simply not true. The only thing is, don't rely on flame DoT too much. But you said you wanted to do PvE, so I'll put it this way...at flamer 4 I do 8 to 9k damage with flame single 2. I can kill a rogue fambaa on naboo in two hits, I can kill a normal torton with one.Unbuffed and unarmored I soloed a rancor youth on dathomir. I do regular/ravenous torton missions on Rori solo for 5-10k a piece, and it takes me a whole 3 minutes to go through a nest, not to mention how much the hides sell for in theed if you spam. My flamer is sliced for speed so I fire 2x faster than a normal flamer, so when I do PvP and I'm using my standard attack, it's funny to watch ppl run trying to dodge fireballs . I used to be BH, and as you can tell, as far as PvE goes I'm happy to be commando (not to mention all the skill points I got back =P ). As far as what to pair it with....my current goal is to have master commando/master teras kasi artist (and of course novice medic). The ability to have strong ranged and melee skill is invaluable to a PvPer like me, and I'm sure there'd be very few npcs you couldn't kill with KD/dizzy + Flame Cone 2.
