i did it in 2 days outside theed.

i had a macro to equip a bowcaster, shoot it, and equip vibro knucklers.

i just sat there and hit that macro killing 100XP monsters.

theres no good way to do it.. unarmed sucks.. but this is how i did it.

(i say bowcaster because i'm not certified for it, it does no damage so it doesn't take away unarmed XP)

Vibro knuckles aren't available to unarmed people anymore (unless you get Teras Kasi, which requires unarmed, oh the irony!)

I suggest getting some decent armor that protects against Kenetic. Since you probably have marksman skill use a weapon (preferably pistol) and use bleed 1 to pull with. IMMEDIATLY unequip the pistol after bleed 1 so you get NO pistol exp and all unarmed (pistol exp, you'll find, is infinately easier to attain). From the southern side of Tyrena take missions from the mission terminal near shuttle B. Look for scavenger rats and diseased vrelts. These do relitively little damage and are good for 250+ exp each. The armor will protect you from damage but be careful about specials as those can kill you Another option is to use shield generators but you won't make as much money from the missions with these because they usually run out after 3-5 missions. I got unarmed in 3 days flat doing this and without vibro knuckles.

Im in a posting frenzy as I sit at work away from swg

Best way to do unarmed is to make a macro:

/ui actiontoolbarSlotxx (Equip Pistol)

/ui actiontoolbarSlotxx(Health Shot 1)

/ui actiontoolbarSlotxx(Equip Vibro Knucklers, or remove pistol)

Now you fire, bleed, they run at you, you hit them and get full unarmed xp.

Secrets: Bleeds dont give xp to that type of xp.

VK's may not be ceritifed till TKA but you hit ALOT faster with them then without, and for barely less dmg.

ispent my time hunting womp rats on tat, they hit a bit harder but with some armour and a heal every 2nd rat they go down easy enough

one tip though is to use a pet. dont use him to fight for you but instead group with him. normally womp rats gave me about 350 exp each, but with a pet or a player grouped, regardless of how far away they are, you get bonus exp. with my pet grouped i got 466exp each rat, and with him standing there, if i accidentally drew 2-3 rats, he could take one out as i worked on the other

Do a Health shot 1 then a health shot 2...U get two bleeds.. Then Unarmed....U should be able to take on Tougher creatures.

i grinded outside of kor vella spaceport, takes a lot of time but there is no better way. To get unarmed 4, you have to work.

VibroKnucklers are still available...and you can still use them...in fact I ENCOURAGE it...you take a penalty for not being certified (less damage done), but if you get them sliced for speed (my set is very fast)...the speed makes up for the penalty...I got 50K in about 4 hours using my knucklers and a whole lot of stim packs...find a harvest spider nest and start pounding away...combine it with a quick bleed pistol shot (healthshot1 or healthshot2) to start then quick switch to the knuckles to take down large critters...

Make a macro to help...I use the following quick unarmed macro:

/stun1;/blind1;

You can combine that with the player f slots and have the macro auto equip the pistol, healthshot and thenequip the knuckles (see the Commando Guide...that's what helped me with this idea).

70K is do'able in 1 day this way if you grind it...2 to 3 days if you don't want to spend all day on the computer...not only did I finish my unarmed, but I finished traping and harvesting at the same time...

The healthshot 1/healthshot 2 then finish with the unarmed is the way to go. I recommend hunting bantha's since they give killer XP, and you can easily out run them. The only banth that aggros is the mamma(matron or whatever they call her). If she sees you attack another one she will aggro you, so always take her first. You also get some good xp when you get down to the lair, and if you harvest make sure you choose hide as wooly hide sells for good coin.

As far as the combat xp, if you haven't reached the 40k with master marksmen and unarmed(can't remember if that gets it or not) then you can sell faction points. Not a good deal for other skills, but since it is one for one combat isn't a bad deal.
