Sorry hit enter to soon lol. I am not sure what kind of HAM costs weapons in commando has so I was wondering how should I change my stats sincemy oldset upwas for my old riflemen skill.

Go through the Flame Specialization 1st. The reason I say this is because the Flame Thrower is about the really only good weapon for a commando, you will find it to be only weapon really useful for commando. Be prepared when you are novice to miss alot with any heavey weapon. I was told to purchase a Launcher pistol as your first weapon due to better accuracy. Your accuracy of the flame thrower will increase as you move up the skill tree and yes the luancher pistol will give you expeirence in Flame Specialization. If you do choose to use a flame thrower as novice look for one with firing rate at or about 5.0. Alos check for damage usually damage is about 440 to 850 or somewher in that range. When is connects the damage done is good but again it's a trade off from the speed of the weapon.

Some claim you can you have a flame thower sliced with 3.1 speeds, I have yet to find any the fastest I have found is 4.3 and the damage was reduced along with the HAM costs which is good becuase most flame throwers HAM costs are really high, especially to the Health HAM. As for the rest of the weapon like Acid Launchers and Particle beams I have no clue, from what i have read these classes of weapons are broken, just have to try it for yourself.

Anyone can say Im wrong but im still learning this class and Im open to critisizim in order to be better commando.

Just migrate so that you can fit into a suit of either composite (if you PvP a lot) or high kinetic resist ubese (for PvE). HAM costs on commando weaps are negligible, well let me rephrase: HAM costs on flamethrower are negligible. Our expendible weaps have some substantial HAM cost depending on which weap you use, but generally they are worse than the flamethrower and much more costly to use. So, for what it's worth, get a good set of armor, get it sliced and hope for encumbrance slices, and migrate so that you can wear it.
