Thread: What race is best for commando?
Beacuse Bothans are small and... umm... fast...and umm... cool... and furry.
Oh, and Rodians are... little, bug eyed, scaley, slimy, hideous, weak,slight humanoids.
Wookies aren't good for crap other than creature handling due to lack of armor.
Otherwise it makes little difference. Commando goes great with any race.
I'm a Bothan Master Commando and I can get a whole suit of composite on, except for gauntlets, without a buff. I think about half the pieces have been encubrance sliced, and the other half resist sliced.
The reason I like bothans so much is that some people actually rely on manually targeting you before they attack, and smaller species mean less surface area to click on. One person actually reported me for using explout making me "untargetable", when all I was doing was using burst run and zigzaging until I was within 16 meters.
Also, because we're short we can hide behind other people more easily and inside the legs of reasonably large pets.
Also the bonuses upon creation are spread out to the right places, except that it would be nice if we had some bump to Willpower--as that's the state that keeps me from wearing gauntlets.
For the most part I just like the notion of the tiniest guy on the Battlefield using heavy weapons.
