Thread: What's best stat migration for Human Commando with composite armor?
I had my primaries set to about 900, the secondaries were set about 10 over what was needed to put on my armor except for willpower and constitution, I think). I had a artisan friend make me up some exo-protein wafers that bufed focus and con. So, I could eat 2 wafers and put my armor on. The rest of the points from these 2 stats went into the other stats that affect HAM costs.
Forgot exactly what the exo-protein wafer buffed, but whatever it was, those were the 2 I had that I didn't increase. Think the wafers used hide and meat, about 6 or so units. So it was very easy to run off 4 crates of 25 each. Only had to put the armor on every so often anyhow, so I didn't go through the wafers very fast.
Mines really basic and easy to know
800
500
500
800
500
500
800
500
500
I'm a nut for even numbers, my action pool with full armor is over 100, I might drop them down some and beef up my ham bars a bit. But I like the ability to put on my armor whenever I feel like it.
I have mine like this (sorry at work i have no accual numbers)
Put the suit on. It doesn't fit, make it fit. You should be able to wear the whole thing.
I have pretty high mind attributes. i think 920 , 620, 620.
Now... whenever you go hunting, get buffed, mind buffed if you can.
Have novice medic and some good stim B's and your practically invincible.
I think its something like this
620
495
495
650
490
490
920
620
620
something like that.
bottom line behind my post is I have made my mind stats unusually high and my health and actions lower, and I always get buffed!
I use :
400/400/400
400/400/400
1100/950/950
(I am a human)
I wear very high percent composite 24/7 and stay buffed. Very risky though if you don't ask the doc the duration on his packs and give a 20 min window if you are in a heavy combat area without a doc to rebuff or in a PvP raid without docs. I throw in power boost and muon gold and just get to work. Good luck, best advice is to decide if you really need the mind for rifleman in PvP or if you are just gonna do PvE. PvE you prob don't need such an extreme set as I use, and as someone said before the 800/500/500 set is basic but a lot of people I know use it as it is failry well balanced. Only problem with that is that unless you get a failry well encumberance slice on it, you will still get eaten up on the regen and ham cost because of low secondary stats. I say stay buffed regardless
Buffs are easily payed for in your first mission and you can get more done while buffed because you don't need to take so long recovering from most fights.
I took all my secondaries down to min and put the points into my primary.
I use a combo of food, drink and spice to get in the armor. But I am very happy with the performace I am getting out of my char.
Also I set up a macro to buff with the food/drink/spice so if things get heavy I always have alittle boost on hand.
The only downside is that I heal pretty often and have to keep high qual stim-b's on hand at all times.
Overall its working very well and the punishment my char can take is quite impressive even without the buffs.
