Hi

I'm a Novice Commando and I can't hit the enemies while on a hunt for example Squills. I got about 150 xp on every squill if I didn't have luck then I got just above 1k xp. So I now beg you all what do you think I should hunt? I have used flamer, LP and acid same result.

Use your LP for the lower levels. Your accuracy with it is +60 vs +10 with the FT and HAR. You were probably getting such low exp cuz you missed all the time. Go kill Bantha for a bit.. you should get 2-3k for them in the beginning.

First what is FT and HAR? Ok I will go and fight banthas then. I understand that I should aim for flame skills first.

Also I find that /aim works wonders when trying to land those flame specials early on.
hunt on starter planets, burninate your way to flame 3, get doctor buffs, go to Yavin or Endor, avoid insects and lizards, as they will disease you and end you trip quick.

I find sharnaff hunts on corellia to the south of coronet give u good xp. Sharnaffs havent got great protection against heat so flamer work well there .

I did Bantha Matriarch/Giant Sand Beetle lairs on Tatooine, got hundreds of thousands of xp off em. 5k per lair too.

Is it normal to be getting 3k xp tops at flamer 2 even for the tougher things on endor etc..? in the other profs ive tried i remember getting about 4-5xp for the same creatures.

I'm 3440 with Xp stored for 4443 ... I just need to master scout fist so I can drop it and use the skillpoints for Commando.

When I solo I'm on Tatooine (my home planet) hunting dewbacks, banthas and greater Womp rats. Depending on variation you get between 1500-2800 XP without a droid or pet. If you have a decent Ubese armor or something with good Kinetic protection this are all very easy to kill. You get loads of Xp fast.

Yesterday I hunted Sharnaffs on Corellia with a Master CM. I got over 2800 Xp for every Sharnaff killed. I got about 600K Xp in some hours. Realy Realy fast XP.

I've found the best place to hunt for a starting commando is the Jinda Cave on Endor. There is no such thing as a Jinda faction so they're yellow con to everyone. I started out with LP and used it hunting pikets and such until I got Flame I, then I got myself some good composite, some good buffs and headed out to this cave. They only have like 5-10% of heat resists so flame works well on them. Have to be careful though as they are very social, cone works well on these guys. It's just cool having so many creatures to kill all in one place instead of running around doing missions. Plus if you're lucky enough to avoid the cave campers you might pick up some cool skill tapes.

Once I made Novice Commando, I did very well on Yavin4 hunting solo. Just be careful a bit till you start getting up the Flame tree, which is the tree I think most Commandos including myself would recommend.
