Does a heavy weapons skill tape add to flamethrower skills?

I equiped a accuracy tape but it did not increase flame accuracy, under my skills tree, it did create a new category of Heavy Weapons Accuracy 0/+10...But since a Flamethrower is a Heavy Weapon does it carry over and just not show??....id like a definate awnser if anyone knows.

Thanks

SOE. consider bringing back tefs, city warn, perma-death and/or skill loss, they were not bad concepts they just needed some tweaking.

I haven't been a commando long enough to vouch for this, but i believe all heavy weapons used to share accuracy and speed modifiers... Unfortunattly, the dev's must have felt this too logical and changed it. Your skill tape, for now, is worthless. I would however suggest that you hold on to it.

Heavy Weapon mods are confirmed to be bugged and currently useless...
