Thread: Proton Grenades...14 damage...? What the hell...

Howdy all, I just bought a crate of 25 stacks of Proton Grenades for 100k credits. I decided to test them out...and after a few misses(each nade being quite expensive), I managed to hit a gurrcat. Guess how much damage I did. Fourteen. 14 points of damage from a grenade listed as hitting for 1447-3500 damage.Has this happened to anyone else? The highest I've hit so far with any of them is 20 points of damage. Any help would be magnificent.

I had the same problem with C12 Frag grenades (player-made). The min was 100, max was 400. Damage done - between 8 and 37. lol I found a glop on the bazaar which was an npc drop and it's damage was 25-225 or something. When I hit with it it did about 200 damage.
I think there's something screwy with player-made grenades. I found 2 vendors with player-made c12s and both did way below what the stats were on different non-blast resistant targets.

Are you a master commando? I saw your sig and see it says expert commando(tittle for one of the tree's).The cert. is in the Master Commando box. If you are a master commando its probably a bug.

LOL....I'm a friggin dumbass.....forgive my idiocy. I'm nota master yet...300k xp from it. No wonder...ehehe...delete this post now.

Ignore my rant about player-grenades. heh Just found a decent grenade vendor and bought 80k worth of c22s and protons. They work fine other than the ham hits. Don't know what's up with c12s other than being crap.

Call me insane, but I'm a master commando, adn I love my nades.
I have crates of Glop nades that do 3K+ Dmg, and I toss them whenever I need some acid love.

the ONLY grenades i ever use is Proton grenades - high dmg, but does the blast radius work? i cant tell to be quite honest... i usualy miss with grenades anyhow

The blast radius works, whether it hits or not is a diffrent story.
I see the dmg come off the target I through the grenade at, but anything around it has big ol "miss" signs above them in nice white font.
