I personally swear by quenker missions on Dantooine. 5k money, 2.5k experience per quenker (3k if you have the group bonus) and best of all they are rediculously easy to kill for what you get.

Jax missions on Endor are good as well. You get the same XP as the quenkers and a little more money.

What the heck is a plasma cannon? The Heavy Particle Beam Cannon?

If that's it then it is a decent weapon. You're not very fast or accuirate with it until you hit master, and it costs about 1000 credits per shot on my server, whether you hit or not, so it's only recommended if you're a millionaire, don't mind kneeling (as you do so automatically when you fire it) and don't mind missing (as I'm a master and I still miss more often than you'd think). It does about as much damage as Flame Single 2, but at a much greater range and with a smallAoE.

Also, it can't be used indoors (which is just as well, as if you fire it at a target that'd too close, you're accuracy will be terrible--and if you're inside the AoE and it does hot, your will incap yourself).

Against anything that has a high energy resist, it is worthless, and most high level mobs have an energy resist, so make sure you check before firing.

plasma cannon? whats that? and i hunted on dantooine for voritors with flame 4....but make sure you got novice medic and some good stims, or youll die....a lot. but i got 3k heavy weapons xp, 300 combat and plenty of money. each mission would net me roughly 30k xp 3k combat and 8k money. nice combo

Be sure to check the armor rating of the target too; Heavy Particle Beam Cannons are heavy armor piercing weapons...
