Ok, this may seem very trivial to many of you but is there some sort of madness to throwing these Cryoban grenades? I'm going toe-to-toe with Pickets and they are within 5m. I hit my hotkey for the Cryoban Grenade, it shows up as "Throw Grenade" in the combat que, but when it comes time for it to be thrown - NADDA. Grenade is still in my inventory and no damage has been done. Are these meant to be vs. NPC or is there a minimum range (examine shows just a -10 at 0 meters). I've thrown grenades prior to being a Commando, but this one has me somewhat stumped.

I believe this is a bug...as it sometimes happens not only with gernades, but disposable hvy weaps as well...either that or the devs have a certain range you cant throw/fire...

...i havent had this happen to me for quite a while so Im not exactly clear anymore...mainly cuz its never a good idea to be that close to chuck a gernade... (most likely you'll kill yourself rather than your target!)....so I cant confirm if its the latter...and I dont use my disposables as much as I used to due to costs

I had a similar problem when I started out. I found that the grenade would work if it was in my regular inventory instead of in my backpack. My hotkey stims and woundpacks work from the backpack, but the grenades and RL did not.

The problem has now been corrected. Ended up that this was a bug and was fixed when I found another Commando and traded the Cryoban Grenades to him and then he traded them back to me. After that, watch out butterflies, I can do 100 pts of damage every 12 seconds on ya [dripping sarcasm].
