You get no XP from DOTs, infact I find that they will steal loads of it. I've seen fights where I ended up getting 1 XP because of flame DOT when I should have gotten 3K. When I was leveling I found that I got more xp fighting normal quenkers than the more powerful versions because the higherHAM meant a longer fight and more time for the DOT.

Do commandos get xp for the Fire DOT? I was wondering because i am only getting around 1600 heavy weaponxp for killing Slinking vort hunters which give me around 4k unarmedxp when i use teras kasi attacks.
