Whats the degree range on the flame cone 1 & 2, I was told by someone whos name I won't mention and he says the Enemys need to be in a straight line to hit them with flame cone. Being a commando and actually using it, I know its not like that, but for the record can Iget a degree on the flame clone 1& 2?

I dunno, around 25 degrees to the left, and 25 degrees to the right, of your target. Give or take some.

Wouldn't that be 50 from your current location? /25+25\
Well thanks look like some one was wrong, just as I suspected.

a bit to the left, and a bit to the right, of your target. But not a very large area.

The first thing you have to keep in mind when using flame cone is that the targets need to be in combat with you or another creature or npc in order for the cone to hit them, accept on the initial target. So lets say you see a big line of storm troopers and their not attacknig anything, youuse flame cone on the first one in the line, the first one will take full damage for the hit and all the rest will say "bodyhit" leghit" or "mindhit" but the damage won't effect it, although the burn dot still works.
The best way to avoid this is to fire one shot at the mob so they all aggro you, then flame cone their asses.

rac is rite remeber when using flame cone always aim for the middle if there to far apart walk alittle bak and let them come closer to gather and remember as a commando always give them hell

i think yr friend is more or less right

yes the animation on the flame cone is side to side, but the damage IS more or less in a stright line. but it goes out to 16m.
the melee prof have a spherical area attack, so if you are sorunded by mobs, and do say spin atack II, you will hit all of them, depending of course they are in yr range. try to flame cone when surounded , and you will see only the ones in front are damaged.
