Either save up money and FP, as you suggested, for the good ships in SE, or go after some of the better loot in the game. I hear black sun guys are dropping 90% resist armor on Yavin right now.

Find a role playing guild and join it...it's the only thing breathing new life into this game...otherwise, you'll quit within 6 months because of the monotony of the game.

Thanks. But I should have been more specific....What can I do now to improve? Should I hunt certain things to get certain drops? Or just spend my time between now and SE to grind missions for FP and money?

I haven't seen the Black Sun agents on Yavin but I have run into them once on Endor. I saw them on the mountains NW of the SE Outpost (Research Outpost, IIRC). They're tough, for me at least. A group of 3 and the one that took me out had about 30k HAM. I wasn't prepared for it so I didn't last long.

I was wondering the same thing. Is there anything cool to do like the Hutt themepark and the Faction theme parks? What can we do to keep ourselves busy besides pvp or dropping and doing another profession?

Personally, I started doing the quests that dropped cool loot. For instance, the marauder mission on endor...you get a full set of marauder armor...not bad armor...has low encumberance and something like 35% resists. better than no armor!
I did some missions to get things for my house. FOr instance, go to dantooine imp outpost...you get a cool light for your house and a boat load of faction XP..there's 3 quest characters there.
Do the theme parks if you haven't...no really great loot there...you do get a badge..hey if you're bored....
When the hermit quests are redone in the next publish or 2, do those...should be better loot and easier to find the hermits.
I've got2 different paintings - one from a guy in the imp bunker on top of bestine, one from the jabba theme park.
Do the nightsister missions on dath...you get some decent loot from them...I've done about 75% of them and got a good "damage" stim b pack that heals all 3 HAM bars at once...
Do the imperial governor missions in the capital of bestine for mucho credits and faction XP
There are also corsec missions on corellia.
Anyway, that's a list to get you started at least...if I think of more, I'll post them
